The British men's hockey team finally salvaged a bit of pride on Wednesday with a 4-1 defeat of Argentina.
Victory came too late for a medal, but it did help ease the pain following Monday's 8-2 hammering by Pakistan.
Goals from Rob Moore and Tom Bertram gave Britain a 2-0 half-time cushion, with Danny Hall and Mark Pearn sealing the win after the interval.
The result puts Britain in a play-off with South Africa for ninth place - their worst finish for 36 years.
It could have been even more painful had Argentina taken advantage of early territorial superiority.
But the British team weathered the storm and took the lead through Moore on 25 minutes.
They doubled their advantage when Bertram converted a penalty corner and it was his searching pass that set up Hall for the third.
Argentina appeared to have given up the ghost in the second half and Carlos Retegui's tap-in five minutes from time was no more than a consolation.
There was still time for Reading midfielder Pearn to round off a good morning's work - giving Great Britain only their second win of the tournament.
