Phil Taylor may quit darts days after winning a record 11th world title. The 43-year-old Englishman outlasted Kevin Painter in an epic PDC World Championship final on Sunday, prevailing in a sudden-death play-off. And he told BBC Radio Five Live on Tuesday that he had been giving serious thought to retirement ever since. But Taylor denied that a decision had been made, saying that he would take time out to discuss his future in the sport with his advisers. Newspaper reports had suggested that the "The Power" Taylor had already made up his mind. "I feel I reached the pinnacle of my career on Sunday night," he said. "I am a grandfather now. Darts is proving to be a young man's game. "The heat on the stage in the final and the length of the matches have really taken it out on me."
