A member of staff has been injured after a device exploded inside the British embassy in the Croatian capital Zagreb, the UK Foreign Office said. The explosion happened in a post room at about 0630 BST. One person suffered minor injuries, although not as a direct result of the explosion, a spokesman said. The Foreign Office spokesman said he was unaware of any threats to the embassy. Security at the building has been stepped up. Ambassador Sir John Ramsden is understood to be at the scene as an investigation is carried out. The Foreign Office did not say if the injured person was British or Croatian, but confirmed they were a member of staff. Reuters news agency reported that threatening letters were sent to some Western embassies in Zagreb in March, which diplomats said were likely to have been linked to a growing anti-EU sentiment in Croatia. news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/4259504.stm
