A 24-year-old man being questioned over the death of skydiver Stephen Hilder has been released on bail. The man was arrested in Leeds on Monday by officers investigating the death of Mr Hilder at Hibaldstow airfield in North Lincolnshire, on 4 July. He has been bailed to return to Scunthorpe police station on a undisclosed date next year. Mr Hilder, 20, plunged 13,000 feet to his death during a skydiving competition after both his main and reserve parachutes were sabotaged. The arrest was the third made by Humberside Police during the investigation. Two of Mr Hilder's friends, Adrian Blair and David Mason, both 19, were questioned and released on bail on 24 October. Detective Superintendent Colin Andrews said: "I firmly believe that whoever is responsible for Stephen's death has confided in a third party and someone knows exactly what happened to him. "That person must come forward and share with me exactly what they know. "I remain confident this case will be solved and the person or people responsible will be brought to justice."
