Rock singer Ozzy Osbourne has said in an interview that he was sexually abused as a child growing up in the UK. Osbourne told the Daily Mirror that as an 11-year-old he was regularly molested by other boys on his way home from school in Birmingham. The star of the MTV reality series The Osbournes said he had been afraid to tell his parents about the incidents. Osbourne, 54, who now lives in a mansion in Hollywood, has battled addictions to drink and drugs. The singer said he had worked through the problem with a therapist, but he still felt it has affected his whole life. "When I was a kid, people did not talk about these things like they do now," he said. The former Black Sabbath singer grew up in a working class family of eight in a two-bedroom house in Birmingham. He has sold more than 60 million albums in a three-decade career, and found renewed fame around the world from his appearances in the MTV documentary series.
