;D Pixar's Finding Nemo is among the films eligible to win the best animated feature prize at next year's Oscars. The underwater hit is joined by 10 other films which can compete for the prize at the Academy Awards. France's Belleville Rendez-Vous also features on the list, along with Japanese films Millennium Actress and Tokyo Godfathers. The final nominees will be announced along with the rest of the Oscars shortlist on 27 January. Disney's Jungle Book 2 and Brother Bear are eligible, along with Piglet's Big Movie and Warner Brothers' Looney Tunes: Back In Action. Children's favourites Rugrats Go Wild! and Pokemon Heroes are also in line for nominations. German medieval tale Till Euelenspiegel rounds off the list. Japanese hit Spirited Away, directed by Hayao Miyazaki, took the best animated feature prize at this year's Oscars. His countryman Satoshi Kon is behind Japan's two nominees this year, Millennium Actress and Tokyo Godfathers. The 11 films on the list are all the animated movies which meet the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' criteria, this is films which were or are due for release in Los Angeles this year. If not enough films are released in a single year, the Academy may decide not to award an award for that year.
