skysports.planetfootball.comby Patrick Goss Manchester City have opted to send home Joey Barton from the club's pre-season tour of Thailand after an altercation with a teenager and team-mate Richard Dunne. The midfielder is no stranger to controversy and was told, after an incident at a club function last year, that he was on his last chance. It remains to be seen what further action City choose to take on their player - but they have taken the decision to pack him off back to England. Manager Stuart Pearce has already expressed his disappointment in Barton's behaviour, completely absolving Richard Dunne from any blame, suggesting the defender has tried to act as a peacemaker. After Pearce held conversations with chairman John Wardle, Barton told he was no longer wanted for the club's tour and will no doubt face further censure.
