ROME, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Juventus notched their first win in Serie B when goals by David Trezeguet and Alessandro Del Piero gave them a 2-1 victory over Vicenza on Saturday. The result put Juventus, who were ordered by a sports tribunal to start this season in the second division on minus 17 points for their part in a match-fixing scandal, on minus 13, 19 points off the lead after two matches. It also represented a winning return to Turin's Stadio Olimpico, formerly the Stadio Comunale, where the club played until moving to the Stadio delle Alpi after the 1990 World Cup. Juventus played with more confidence than they did last week, when they drew 1-1 in Rimini on their Serie B debut. Vicenza keeper Matteo Guardalben made good saves to keep out early efforts by Trezeguet and Pavel Nedved but was left stranded when Giorgio Chiellini burst down the left and crossed for Trezeguet to poke the ball into the bottom corner on the stroke of halftime. Del Piero curled in a second goal from a free kick in the 53rd minute but Juventus endured a nervy final half hour after Vicenza striker Cristian Raimondi took advantage of some sloppy marking to pull one back for the visitors. © Reuters 2006.
