MILAN, Aug 31 (Reuters) - Italian soccer club Juventus said on Thursday its board had decided to drop its appeal in a civil court against a match-fixing ruling.
The appeal had been scheduled for Sept. 1.
Juventus said in a statement it would bring its case to the court of arbritration of Coni, the Italian Olympic Committee.
In July, a sports tribunal stripped the Italian club of their last two titles and demoted them to Serie B with penalty points.
