"He leaves a wife, four children and four grandchildren."
Mr Graham's wife, who was also a passenger in the car, was treated at Coventry and Warwickshire hospital for a broken leg.
The police spokeswoman said: "The male driver suffered a broken pelvis and another male passenger also suffered bruising."
West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses.
Player missed training
In a statement, West Bromwich Albion said the club would not comment on the case, but confirmed the player would not be considered for the First Division team's next game.
The statement said: "The club understands that West Midlands Police wishes to speak to Lee Hughes to discover the full facts surrounding an accident that occurred shortly after midnight on 23 November involving two vehicles, one of which belongs to Lee.
"Until the full facts of the situation are understood, the club will make no further comment, except to say that Lee will not be considered for selection for Tuesday evening's game against Cardiff City since he missed training on both Sunday and Monday."
When asked about what affect Mr Hughes' arrest would have on the team West Bromwich Albion manager Gary Megson said it was difficult to judge at the moment.
"It is something that happened at the weekend so it's not as if we can say it has had this effect or that effect.
"But first and foremost we are talking about someone who has died in this incident and we are more concerned about that than any implications it may have with ourselves."
