Middlesbrough have suffered another injury blow with the news that Malcolm Christie has broken his right leg.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a decent start to the new season after coming through a hernia operation in the summer.
However, he has now been sidelined until well into the New Year after he fractured his right tibia in training.
The club confirmed that Christie had a 'freak' accident in training which caused the fracture.
