I must apologise for not having posted for a few weeks, it has been the busiest time in Dizzy Towers for a good few months.
We all went on a shopping trip to the MerryHill center in Birmingham last weekend, I organised the trip with the intention it be used for Christmas shopping for the chaps. What a nightmare day it turned out to be, Percy insisted he take along his scooter (darned thing), he whizzed up and down the escalators and even upset a poor old ladies shopping cart, apples, sausages and corn plasters all over the place.
Red, Ooog and Manic trundled off to the, yes you guessed the biggest shoe shop they could find. Red bought 15 pairs of assorted footwear while Ooog and Manic shared the job of carrying them back to our mini bus. Ooog found an ancient recipe book in an antique shop which included many references to his beloved Cloudpop plants and their use in cookery in the late 15th century, so happy was he even managed a whole sentence the right way round.
Polie, Gunner and Baby G decided it would be fun to get their shopping out of the way and spend the rest of the day in a burger bar where Polie managed a new record, 154 Big Mac's, 200 fries and 99 chocolate shakes, the smell in the mini bus on the way home was not exactly sweet I can tell you.
Chick and Chuck got themselves lost and had what seemed like the whole of Birmingham's police force out looking for them, it turned out that they had not even got out of the mini bus at all, Percy had locked them in when we arrived by accident (he says) and didn't hear their cheeps.
This weekend sees another visit from Teddy S, the yearning for a "peaceful" time is once again shattered as Baby G and he are planning a huge BBQ and then a disco later on, Percy has decided that he WILL be the DJ for the night and has many many Abba tracks already lined up. I can feel the headache starting already!
Talking of Percy, he will be posting his annual Birthday message to you all tomorrow so I do hope you will pop in and see what he has to say.
I will love and leave you all now as I have to go and get some Chum from the local supermarket, they have a special offer on right now and I want to be first in the queue.
Happy days to you all, BARKY WOOF. Ditt.
