Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini admits he has been saddened by the content of the tapped telephone conversations involving Juventus executives discussing refereeing appointments for Serie A games last season.
The Italian Football Federation are investigating the transcripts released by the Turin prosecutors' office which have been published across the Italian press.
Many of the transcripts featured private phone calls involving senior Juventus director Luciano Moggi and Pierluigi Pairetto, the man responsible for deciding which games referees officiated last season.
"I feel like crying for what has come out," Mancini told Inter's official website.
"I disagree with those who say that we need to see what happens when in fact we should be ashamed full stop.
"I also disagree with those who say that 'these things happen'.
"These were things that were mentioned in pubs but there was never any proof, and now one can only see what has come out."
As a former Juve supporter, Mancini feels let down.
"I was a Juve fan when I was young," he said.
"For 15 years I was a supporter of Juve.
"But this is a very serious matter.
"There's no point in getting angry, to suffer and to prepare for games only then to discover that certain things have already been established.
"It's something very difficult for those who have the passion to play this game and have the passion for the values of football to digest."
