Serie A Week 32 - 1/4/06 (19.30 UK)
Solari 15, 26 (I), Martins 19 (I)
Stadio Giuseppe Meazza

Inter swept an embarrassing Messina aside 3-0 with Santiago Solari's brace, but the win was marred by more abuse aimed at Marco Zoro.
The last time these two teams met, Ivory Coast international Zoro stopped the game in protest at racist chants from a group of Inter fans at Messina's Stadio San Filippo. Unfortunately, he was given a frosty reception at San Siro and supporters singled him out for abuse from the warm-up in reference to that incident.
The Ultra' hardline fans in the Curva continued to boo Zoro every time he touched the ball and unveiled a banner accusing him of 'seeking publicity', but the rest of the Inter crowd in turn chanted against those dealing out the abuse and called them 'idiots'.
This could help cut the size of the fine Inter will no doubt receive after these latest unseemly incidents, but the second half in particular turned into open warfare between the two sections of the Nerazzurri fans with both jeers and applause every time Zoro got the ball.
New Messina Coach Giampiero Ventura began his tenure at the club with a difficult trip to San Siro, although Inter rested most of their stars - including Adriano, Juan Sebastian Veron and Luis Figo - ahead of the Champions League quarter-final decider with Villarreal. The Sicilians were without the suspended Carmine Coppola, who sat out the last in a three-match ban.
Messina almost took the lead within the opening 90 seconds, as Arturo Di Napoli's looping cross beat Julio Cesar and Pierre Wome's headed clearance prevented Zlatan Muslimovic taking full advantage.
At the other end, Marco Storari performed an incredible reaction save on a free Julio Cruz header from six yards on Santiago Solari's cross. It was from point-blank range, but he used a strong hand to turn it round the post.
Storari could do nothing on Inter's goal on 15 minutes, though, as Solari placed a looping left-foot effort over a helpless Messina goalkeeper from the edge of the area.
The Nerazzurri doubled their lead soon after, as a poor clearance was put back into the middle by Kily Gonzalez for Obafemi Martins. The little Nigerian was totally unmarked in the six-yard box for a free header, as Messina were falling to pieces.
Kily Gonzalez drilled wide from the edge of the area, but Solari grabbed his second of the game. Marco Materazzi's header from a corner kick was parried on the line by Storari, but Solari pounced on the loose ball for a tap-in.
Alessandro Parisi's clearance prevented a Martins cross reaching Cruz, as Inter were running riot.
Storari was still keeping the scoreline down with a save on Cruz's point-blank header, but Messina had a good chance with Nocerino's drive from distance that skimmed the target.
Zoro's well-timed sliding tackle stopped Martins just inside the area and the Nigerian had penalty appeals waved away.
A group of Messina fans who had travelled all the way from Sicily were so disappointed by this performance that they left at half-time to get an early train home.
The visitors were more determined after the break, and Inter took their foot off the pedal, allowing Sergio Floccari a promising opportunity.
Solari went for the hat-trick with a curling shot from outside the area that was just wide of the top corner.
Martins sprung the offside trap, but Storari rushed off his line to close down the Nigerian and force him to shoot wide.
The young African went on another fine run, but Marco Zanchi's crucial tackle from eight yards charged down the strike.
Storari performed a good save on a low Sinisa Mihajlovic free kick around the defensive wall.
Substitute Alvaro Recoba almost made it 4-0 in stoppages with a stunning snapshot from distance with his trusty left foot that shook the frame of the goal to its very foundations.
It was a truly appalling performance from Messina on Ventura's debut, but still an improvement on last season's 5-0 defeat in this stadium.
