www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/feb17e.htmlCristiano Zanetti looks increasingly as though he will leave Inter at the end of the season in favour of a move to Juventus. The Inter midfielder has been offered a lucrative new deal to stay on at the San Siro, with the Nerazzurri increasing their previous offer by £150,000 to £1.16m a year over three seasons. However, despite the favourable financial terms, Zanetti has grown tired of being continually overlooked by Coach Roberto Mancini in his first-team selection policy and having been restricted to a bit-part role. Although Mancini himself is said to have encouraged the club to increase their bid to keep the midfielder, Zanetti’s exclusion from recent high-profile matches against Fiorentina and Juventus is thought to have been the final straw. Fabio Capello is a known admirer of the former Italy international, who was an integral part of his Scudetto success at Roma in 2001, and Zanetti is also eager to restore his association with his former Giallorossi Coach in the summer by moving to the Stadio Delle Alpi.
