www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/oct3a.htmlDespite falling six points behind Juventus after the Derby d’Italia, Adriano believes that Inter will still be challenging for Lo Scudetto in May. The Nerazzurri were defeated in last night’s grudge match after first-half strikes from David Trezeguet and Pavel Nedved, which leaves them in fourth place heading into the international break. But despite the demoralising result, Adriano insists that Inter are still a contender. “There's still a long way to go in the championship and we hope we can catch Juventus,” the Brazilian told the Nerazzurri’s official website. “Inter want to become stronger and stronger, but today Juventus played good football and won the match. They did well to score two goals in the opening period and they made it difficult for us. “We certainly didn't play a great match. Let's hope we can put things right and start doing well again in our next matches.” Meanwhile, fellow Inter star Luis Figo is also confident of success this season as he sees the Nerazzurri at the same level as the Bianconeri. “The difference tonight was the free-kicks,” said the former Real Madrid winger. “I didn't see any big difference in the two teams' play and we must not lose heart. There's a big difference in the table compared with Juve, but the road to the Scudetto is still long and there are still many points up for grabs."
