www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/aug8d.htmlInter look likely to name Julio Cesar as their goalkeeper to face Shakhtar Donetsk in Wednesday’s Champions League qualifier. The Brazilian has been in impressive form during Inter’s pre-season campaign, particularly on their tour of England. “Cesar has done well during our time in England," Coach Roberto Mancini (pictured) told the official Inter website. "I am happy to be able to have a great goalkeeper like him in the squad. He is good and we are fortunate to have him." However, two other new boys are unlikely to be on the pitch when the whistle blows on Inter’s season. Luis Figo was not signed in time to qualify for the match, while Walter Samuel is not yet match-fit. “Samuel has yet to reach his top form, but I think he will be able to go on the bench,” added Mancini. Alain Hamer of Luxembourg will officiate on the first leg clash, which will be played in Ukraine. Hamer will be assisted by linesmen Francis Crelo (Luxembourg) and Jean Philippe Izzo (France), and by fourth official Stephane Lannoy (France). Shakhtar warmed up for the game in perfect fashion with a crushing 3-0 win over Avrija Symferopol, making it five wins out of five in the Ukrainian League.
