Inter boss Alberto Zaccheroni insists that Adriano and Christian Vieri can co-exist in the same team. "They can play together because it will give the side a thousand options and more solutions," said Zac. "It will also be possible to play with a ‘trequartista’ just behind them or serve them with crosses from the flanks. "It is now up to me to find the right balance in the side because it is vital to not split the team into two." The Brazilian arrived at the San Siro yesterday after he completed his £16m move from Parma. "I didn’t expect to have him here until June but obviously Parma’s financial problems saw the operation completed sooner," added the tactician. "His arrival will certainly make us a stronger outfit but that just means that we will have to prove that on the pitch." With Vieri currently out with injury, Adriano could feature at the weekend in the game against Modena. "I need to see him in training first," said the former Udinese tactician. "Yet I’m convinced that he has some extraordinary qualities." With Adriano captured, will Zac also have the Lazio pair of Dejan Stankovic and Jaap Stam by the end of the month? "I’m not aware of any more arrivals," he added. "We are a valid squad. We just need to demonstrate it now."
