Despite insisting that no new players would arrive in January, Inter are today being linked with a move for Pablo Aimar. New boss Alberto Zaccheroni has made no secret of the fact that he would like a ‘trequartista’ and the Valencia man could answer his request. Reports suggest that the Argentine (pictured) is open to the switch but his transfer fee may be a problem. The Spanish outfit want around £10m which may lead Inter to ask for his services on an initial six month loan period. The plan is to bring the attacking midfielder to the San Siro and then, depending on how he settles, to sign him permanently in the summer. Other transfer rumours on Wednesday suggest that Lazio are interested in signing Sylvain Wiltord and Yildiray Basturk in the summer. The Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen duo will be free agents at the end of the season which suits Lazio’s financial situation. Milan are also planning for next season and seem to have pinpointed Siena’s Rodrigo Taddei as a target. The Brazilian, still just 24, is also of interest to Roma, Inter and Barcelona. He’ll cost around £3m. Finally, Udinese could make an attempt to bring Brazilian forward Marcio Amoroso back to the club. The 29-year-old is at odds with Borussia Dortmund and is eager to move on as quickly as possible.
