Inter boss Alberto Zaccheroni has ruled out the possibility of a January swoop for Adriano.
The Parma striker, part owned by the Nerazzurri, is being linked with a New Year switch but Zac maintains he won’t arrive.
"We’re well covered in attack," stated the tactician on Tuesday. "We have no need for any new elements. I’m totally satisfied with what I already have."
The San Siro boss currently has Christian Vieri, Julio Cruz, Obafemi Martins and Alvaro Recoba in his squad.
Stories suggesting that the Brazilian could arrive have gathered pace in recent weeks due to Parma’s financial problems and the suspension of Mohamed Kallon.
The 21-year-old may not arrive in January but it is almost certain that he will join the Nerazzurri in the summer.
Meanwhile, Zac is looking ahead to Wednesday’s Coppa Italia trip to Reggina after their 2-1 first leg win at the San Siro.
"We won the first game and we must honour this competition," continued the tactician.
"However, I will be making my team selection with the game against Lazio this weekend in my mind. I need to see who needs a rest."
