Matias Almeyda says that he’ll only star for Inter should he decide to continue playing football next season. The Argentine is considering retiring from the game at the end of this term but his recent form for the Nerazzurri may see him change his mind. "I’ve never said that I will definitely hang up my boots but I am considering that," he stated. "If I do continue in Italy then it will only be with this club." The international midfielder, still only 30, has returned to something like his best form under the guidance of new boss Alberto Zaccheroni. "We’ve finally found a footballing identity thanks to him," he added. "However, we must all still improve. "If we can continue on this road then we would go far. But let’s not talk about the League title just yet." The next round of Serie A will be a special occasion for the player as he will face former club Lazio where he won a Scudetto. "That’s right but we have the Coppa Italia tie against Reggina to concentrate on first," he explained.
