Inter boss Alberto Zaccheroni has told his side to play without fear in tonight’s crucial clash at Dinamo Kiev.
The Nerazzurri are in the Ukraine as they look for a win that will ensure them a place in the last 16 of the Champions’ League.
"We’ve played with too much fear in European games so far," explained the tactician. "We just need to play the sort of football that we do in Serie A.
"I think that is the major reason behind why our form in Italy and the Champions’ League has been so different."
The San Siro giants do have a number of injury problems in defence and midfield but Zac says he will keep the faith with his 3-4-3 tactics.
"We will definitely be playing with a trident strike force because we have to win the game," continued the Coach.
"Yet I’m hopeful because the squad is looking in good shape. We respect our opponents but my team can do the business."
Matias Almeyda will start tonight in the absence of the injured Cristiano Zanetti and he hopes his men can repeat their recent performance at the Stadio Delle Alpi.
"We need to play like we did when we won 3-1 at Juventus," said the midfielder. "In that game all of the side did well by playing a good brand of football.
"We need to give Kiev very little space and just be patient even though we do need to win the tie."
Dinamo Kiev (4-3-2-1): Shovkovskly, Dmytrulin, Gavrancic, Sablic, Nesmachnly, Peev, Ghioane, Leko, Belkevich, Rincon, Shatskikh
Inter (3-4-3): Toldo, Gamarra, Adani, Cannavaro, J. Zanetti, Almeyda, Emre, Pasquale, Van der Meyde, Martins, Vieri
