Materazzi As if losing 5-1 to Arsenal wasn’t bad enough, Inter may now also be without three key players for their trip to Juventus. Marco Materazzi, Fabio Cannavaro and Christian Vieri all suffered slight knocks during the game which has jeopardised their presence in Turin on Saturday. Materazzi (pictured) looks to be definitely out for the crucial Delle Alpi clash after he pulled a thigh muscle. His defensive colleague Fabio Cannavaro is also suffering with muscle problems, while Vieri picked up a knock. The Gazzetta dello Sport and the Corriere dello Sport both used the word ‘humiliating’ in their front-page headlines on Wednesday. Inter’s defeat in the Champions’ League last night was their heaviest ever at home in Europe. They had previously only been beaten by a two-goal deficit to Barcelona, Anderlecht, Bayern Munich and Alaves. It was also their first loss at the San Siro to an English side since Birmingham City beat them 2-1 in April 1961.
