Inter ace Emre Belozoglu could miss his club’s crucial games against Arsenal and Juventus because of injury. The Turkish star returned from international duty on Thursday with a knee problem which is worrying the Nerazzurri medical staff. The creative midfielder will undergo tests on Friday but there are fears that he will be out of action for at least a week. That would rule him out of Saturday’s game against Reggina, before the ties against Arsenal and Juventus. However, Christian Vieri resumed training today after a bout of the flu. He could start at the Stadio San Siro. Meanwhile, Ancona’s hopes of their first League win of the season have been hit by an injury to Dario Hubner. The veteran striker pulled a thigh muscle today and won’t be able to face former club Brescia this weekend. Maurizio Ganz is now likely to be partnered in attack by the inexperienced Bruno rather than Paolo Poggi.
