A return to Inter is not imminent for Ronaldo after the Brazilian maintained he was happy to remain at Real Madrid.
Stories suggested that the international could be about to make a sensational return after a few problems in Spain and Inter’s decision to sack Hector Cuper.
However, Ronaldo was back to his best for the Spanish giants at the weekend despite his recent complaints that he was being substituted too frequently.
"I’ve always been calm about my situation here," he told Spanish newspaper Marca. "I went a few games without scoring but the side haven’t lost sights of our objectives this season.
"I’m going through an exceptional period of my life and I’m happy because we have all that we need to win here. This will be my year."
There were reports that Ronaldo was having a few problems with boss Carlos Queiroz but he was quick to dismiss those claims.
"That is not true," he added. "He makes decisions for the good of Real Madrid and I wouldn’t expect him to do anything else."
Inter chief Massimo Moratti has also admitted that it may take some time to see Ronaldo in the Nerazzurri shirt again.
"Ronaldo is doing fine where he is, we don’t need him right now," he stated. "I’m pleased to hear that he would come back here but we’ll discuss the matter further in the future."
The former Barcelona star left Inter after the 2002 World Cup because of problems with Argentine tactician Cuper.
He was sacked two weeks ago when Alberto Zaccheroni replaced him at the Stadio San Siro.
