10/20/2003. Inter president Massimo Moratti has explained his decision to fire coach Hector Cuper. "I took this step for the good of Inter and for the good of Cuper," he said. "The bridge between the squad and the Coach had snapped. "It was a decision which I didn't want to make and I'm sorry for Cuper the man and the professional."
