www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/jan11k.htmlAmantino Mancini marked his comeback with a goal as Roma swept past Napoli 2-1 to set up a Coppa Italia quarter-final clash with Juventus. The Giallorossi were already leading 3-0 from the first leg at the San Paolo, but that match was marred by crowd trouble that forced the authorities to order this game be played behind closed doors. Inacio Pia had the first real chance for Napoli, but he hesitated after going round the goalkeeper and was eventually cut short by Philippe Mexes. But Roma put their qualification beyond doubt with two goals on the stroke of half-time. Youngster Alberto Aquilani, who scored his first Serie A strike at the weekend, drilled under the bar after Leandro Cufre’s shot had been charged down. Moments later, Mancini marked his comeback with a goal by taking advantage of Montesanto’s defensive error. There has been talk of the Brazilian leaving the Stadio Olimpico in January, as this was his first appearance in over two months. Mancini had another good chance to make it three, while at the other end Gianluca Curci did well to push over a Grieco free kick and Napoli eventually snatched a consolation goal in stoppages with Amodio springing the offside trap. Luciano Spalletti’s men comfortably qualify for the quarter-finals 5-1 on aggregate, where they will come face with face with old rivals Juventus. Roma 2-1 Napoli (5-1 on agg) Scorers: Aquilani 39 (R), Mancini 45 (R), Amodio 92 (N)
