All the latest celebration and recrimination from Press rooms around the peninsula.
Ascoli 1-1 Reggina
Massimo Silva: "We thought the game would go differently, but we had to change our tactical approach because of the really wet and heavy pitch. The draw is a little tight for us to be honest and the fact that we lost a lead is disappointing. The boys gave their all out there and they will continue to do that seeing as the pitch is unlikely to improve during the winter."
Walter Mazzarri: "We would have been robbed if we’d lost that game. We went down to 10 men, possibly because Franceschini’s red card was a little excessive. Despite that, we caused them real trouble by creating numerous chances."
Juventus 4-0 Cagliari
Fabio Capello: "I saw a great Juventus out there, a side who played with real quality. I’m really satisfied because all of my players looked in good condition. We attacked but also gave very little away. Patrick Vieira? He was immense today."
Nedo Sonetti: "Had we approached this game differently, I think it would have ended in the same way. Juventus were super strong, especially psychologically. They are superior to everyone else. We did our best but there really was little we could do against this Juve."
Livorno 2-1 Lazio
Roberto Donadoni: "Lazio were better technically and the three points are perhaps too many for us to have picked up today. The strong wind handicapped both sides, yet this win is so important. The President has praised me? I’m happy and am just looking to grow with this team."
Delio Rossi: "We played our best away game of the season – we just weren’t clinical enough in front of goal. We looked to win the game and reacted with great character after going one goal down. This is important for the future."
Messina 2-0 Chievo
Bortolo Mutti: "They showed themselves to be a good team, even after they were reduced to 10 men. I think our victory was basically constructed thanks to a fine first half display. My boys played with great pride and this is a positive signal for the rest of the championship."
Giuseppe Pillon: "I wasn’t happy with the goal which was taken off us. The referee gave it, then disallowed it. Even if the goal was offside (which it was), I didn’t like the dynamic of how it was annulled. I don’t know what happened."
Parma 1-1 Sampdoria
Mario Beretta: "A lot of my players were not at their best, but I thought the side battled and played well. The disallowed Marchionni goal? That would have made it 2-0 which would have been game over. They didn’t give it to us and that is not the first time that has happened this term…"
Walter Novellino: "You can’t be at your best all of the time when there are so many games to play. We got an excellent result, thanks to some good football in the second half. Parma certainly don’t deserve their current Serie A ranking. They played with their heart and I’m disappointed for Beretta."
Roma 1-2 Palermo
Luciano Spalletti: "We played below our level. They were better than us and deserved their victory. They illustrated that they are more of a team and squad. They were superior to us in the personal battles on the pitch, in which they won all duels."
Gigi Del Neri: "I think that I conducted myself well at Roma last season and this victory doesn’t feel like revenge for me. Palermo were excellent, we gave Roma very little space and we were good enough to react to their equaliser."
Udinese 1-2 Lecce
Serse Cosmi: "We didn’t deserve to lose when you consider our difficulties at this moment in time. It was a different kind of defeat to the one against Barcelona as we went on to the pitch with the right spirit. We were punished on the two occasions that they created in our penalty area."
Silvio Baldini: "Our League position wasn’t a happy one and these points will improve our morale. Vucinic? I’ll say it publicly – things have gone much better for him since he has started acting like a ‘normal’ person again. Things are starting to go well again."
