www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/jan9k.htmlInter are facing a striker shortage after Alvaro Recoba was sidelined for two weeks with an injury. The Uruguayan limped out of the 0-0 draw with Siena on Sunday and tests have shown a slight muscle tear in his right thigh. Recoba will definitely be out of action for at least the next 14 days, but there is the possibility that it may be longer. Boss Roberto Mancini now has just two strikers available to him in the form of Adriano and Julio Cruz. Nigerian international Obafemi Martins is away on African Nations Cup duty, while Chievo’s Victor Obinna has yet to officially complete his move.
