skysports.planetfootball.comArsenal full back Ashley Cole is aiming for invincibility after admitting the Premiership champions are a stronger team than England. The Gunners are closing in on Nottingham Forest's 42-match unbeaten record after opening the new season with a convincing 4-1 victory over Everton. If Arsenal avoid defeat in their next two league games, they will set a new landmark after making history last term by going through the campaign unbeaten. Cole feels Arsene Wenger's side have the potential to repeat that feat but he acknowledged opponents will be looking to topple the current kings of England. "The aim at Highbury is to become known as an invincible team and to do that we have to win the title two years in a row," said Cole. "We have a great side and we do believe we can retain the championship. "We go out to win every game we play but we've not reached the stage where we think we're unbeatable. "It is going to be more difficult this season because everyone is trying even harder to stop us." The England international also acknowledged his belief that his club team are a stronger unit than his national side. Cole feels Arsenal's French contingent ensure the North London club possess the edge over Sven Goran Eriksson's Three Lions. He added: "I've got to say that I think Arsenal would beat England right now. "England have a great side but there are some unbelievable players like Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira at Arsenal."
