skysports.planetfootball.comBad luck Johnny boy, still they do say what goes around comes around. Jonathan Woodgate is set to go to the United States in his latest bid to recover from the thigh injury that has kept him out of action since April. The Real Madrid defender suffered another breakdown in training this week after the problem flared up again and will now travel to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in America. It is hoped that he can finally shake off the muscle tear that has prevented him from playing for Madrid at the clinic that is famous for its work on sports injuries. "Real Madrid did look at other options, but finally it was decided that this was the best place to achieve what is needed, which is making sure that Woodgate recovers 100 percent from his injury," the club announced on their official website. Hopes are high that once Woodgate undergoes a series of tests in Cleveland that he will not have to have an operation.
