Juventus have apparently joined Milan in the chase for Stuttgart’s highly rated forward Kevin Kuranyi. Bianconeri officials are understood to have flown out to watch him in action at the weekend and were pleased with what they saw. The 21-year-old striker has caught the eye of a number of tops clubs over the past year after some excellent displays. The German international was believed to be close to a switch to Milan but Juve could hijack the move. However, Milan may interfere with Juventus’ interest in Bayer Leverkusen stopper Lucio (pictured). The Rossoneri want the Brazilian international as a long term successor to Paolo Maldini who is coming to the end of a glittering career. Milan chief Adriano Galliani believes that Lucio could form a solid understanding with Alessandro Nesta in the years to come. Chelsea and Real Madrid are also interested in Lucio, who rejected the chance to join Roma last summer.
