news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/leeds_united/4260522.stmLeeds have launched an appeal against striker David Healy's dismissal at QPR. Healy was sent off midway through the second half of Leeds' 1-0 win at Loftus Road for violent conduct, following a clash with QPR defender Marc Bircham. The appeal will be heard by a Football Association disciplinary committee on Tuesday, with Leeds hoping he can then face Rotherham in the Carling Cup. If his appeal fails, he will also miss three games, including Championship games with Ipswich and Derby.
