United boss Kevin Blackwell is facing another selection dilemma for Saturday's trip to Norwich.
Blackwell's problem is certainly not a shortage of players, quite the opposite after watching his "reserves" impress him during the Carling Cup win over Oldham on Tuesday.
Players such as Danny Pugh, Matthew Kilgallon and Stephen Crainey, who haven't started games in the league this season, have put themselves in the frame after impressing the boss during that game - just as he had asked them to.
Said Blackwell:"I have got a dilemma everywhere, it's a wonderful one, but I have some big decisions to make.
"I asked them to make my job difficult and they took me at my word."
Upfront Blackwell now has all six strikers available should he need them. Rob Hulse has been undergoing fitness test this week on his bruised ankle and has been given the green light to play.
Hulse's availability could see new signing Richard Cresswell have to make do with a place on the bench, whilst David Healy will hope his performance on Tuesday night can help him retain his place at the expense of Robbie Blake. Michael Ricketts should not be discounted either after his return to goalscoring ways.
Former Burnley man Ian Moore played 45 minutes for in a behind closed doors friendly with Doncaster Rovers on Thursday and he's now ready to push for a place in the matchday squad.
Skipper Paul Butler is set to return after he was rested in midweek, whilst Eddie Lewis, Gary Kelly and Shaun Derry are also back after a short rest.
Another selection problem Blackwell faces is whether to stick with Neil Sullivan after he played on Tuesday night or to recall Ian Bennett, having kept clean sheets in the past two Championship games.
Norwich strike duo of Dean Ashton and former United ace Darren Huckerby were rated 50-50 injury doubts for the game, but Blackwell expects both to play. Forward Peter Thorne is definitely out with a knee problem.
Definitely missing for the Canaries will be hamstring victims Andy Hughes and Ryan Jarvis, with Adam Drury and Mathieu Louis-Jean sidelined with ankle injuries.
