United's Coca-Cola Championship game with Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday 15th October has been brought forward to a 12.30pm kick-off on Police advice.
The game was originally due to kick-off at 3.00pm on the same date.
United's Coca Cola Championship home fixture against Crystal Palace has been postponed due to an international call-up.
No new date has yet been decided for the game which had been scheduled to be played on Tuesday 30th August, and it had been selected by Sky Sports as a live TV game.
Tickets purchased for the original date will be valid for the re-arranged fixture. When a fixture is re-scheduled supporters must apply for a refund within 7 working days of the announcement of the change. No refunds will be issued after the 7 day deadline.
The postponement has been made because Crystal Palace have had defender Tony Popovic called up to the Australian squad for the International fixture on Saturday 3rd Septemeber. Because the match is on a different continent, FIFA Regulations state a 5 day release period (including the day of the match) instead of the normal 4 day period.
As the match had already been scheduled within a call-up period normal Football League Rules on call-ups do not apply and Crystal Palace were able to successfully request the postponement.
The first available date in the fixture calendar is not until December so the match will be left undated for now and both Clubs progression in the Carling Cup monitored as an earlier date may become available.
When it is redated Sky television will assess whether or not they want to show the game on it's new date.
