The chairman of a non-league side hoping to pull off an FA Cup shock is taking his inspiration from Samson.
Gordon Hampton, whose Shildon side travel to Notts County on Saturday, has not had his hair cut since qualifying began back in August.
And he is hoping, like Samson, that his flowing locks will give the Northern League outfit the strength they need to pull off an upset.
Hampton, who has also dyed his mane in club colours of purple and black, said: "My hair's getting way too long and it's over my shoulders now.
"I'm booked in for a cut in May - just in case we make it all the way to the final."
