www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/aug22a.htmlInter legend Beppe Bergomi insists that the Nerazzurri are finally ready to win Lo Scudetto again. The Italian giants continually start every season as title contenders but haven’t won Serie A since 1989. However, Bergomi is confident that Roberto Mancini’s squad is good enough to get the better of Milan and Juventus. "I think Inter have filled a few holes," said the former Italian international. "They have everything needed to be protagonists alongside Milan and Juventus." The San Siro outfit certainly seem to be getting into the habit of winning silverware under boss Roberto Mancini. Inter ended the last campaign by lifting the Coppa Italia, subsequently leading to their Supercup win against Juventus on Saturday. Although Bergomi has backed his first love to triumph this year, he has rubbished talk that city rivals Milan could struggle. The Rossoneri have been criticised for their ageing defence but the ex-stopper has urged caution. "I don’t think they are too old," he added. "It is important that players of a certain age are not underestimated." Bergomi also believes that Fiorentina could be the surprise of the season following their summer buys.
