Inter hitman Adriano has started pre-season training with some reassuring words for the Nerazzurri faithful.
The Brazil international was given more time off than the rest of the group, having helped Brazil win the Confederations Cup.
His future has been the subject of much speculation this summer as the Press continuously linked him with Chelsea and Real Madrid.
“I can’t wait to start playing again. I'm pleased to be back and I really want to win things with Inter,” Adriano told Inter.it.
Inevitably, the questions then focused on Christian Vieri’s surprise move to Milan earlier this month.
“Of course, he was an important player and I'm a bit disappointed that he has left,” he continued.
“But there are other great players at Inter and we will continue to do well without Vieri.
“We want to give this club and the fans great satisfaction."
Inter new boy Santiago Solari was also on hand to share his thoughts on life with Inter after joining from Real Madrid.
“Everything's going very well and I'm getting on better with everyone all the time,” the Argentine said.
“I’m very pleased about winning the Trofeo TIM on Wednesday because we were up against two great teams.”
