Milan stopper Billy Costacurta admits he’s not looking forward to facing the Inter pair of Christian Vieri and Adriano. "Vieri and Adriano are the strongest strike force in world football," he said ahead of Saturday’s derby clash. "They will be a nightmare to play against. They are particularly formidable in one on one situations." However, Costacurta believes that he and his teammates have enough to stop the duo even without the suspended Paolo Maldini. "Fortunately we have the best defence in the world at this club," added the former Italian international. "The loss of Maldini is certainly an important one for us but we have always been able to deal with the absences of Alessandro Nesta and Maldini in the past." The 37-year-old also commented on rumours suggesting that Lazio’s Jaap Stam will join the Rossoneri next season. "He is one of the few players in world football that can make a difference to any team that he plays for," concluded the veteran. Meanwhile, Stam has denied the rumours that have claimed a Milan move will definitely occur. "I want to make it clear that, despite stories to the contrary, I have not agreed to move to Milan and I have not agreed personal terms with them," he told his Icons.com website. "As I said previously, I may be leaving Lazio at the end of the season and I would definitely be interested in a move to Milan. "If they want to sign me then I am happy for Milan to talk to Lazio. However, nothing has been settled."
