Alberto Zaccheroni must lead Inter into the Champions’ League this season or he risks being replaced. That is according to some unconfirmed reports in Italy on Monday despite the Nerazzurri’s 4-0 win over Siena on Sunday. The Milan giants put in one of their best performances of the season yesterday but Zac’s job may not be as safe as some may believe. The former Udinese tactician was handed the position earlier this season when he replaced Hector Cuper. Their results picked up but they have struggled in recent months which has seen them fall off the Scudetto pace. However, they are still in the running to finish in the top four – which would ensure a place in next term’s European Cup. If that isn’t achieved then there could be another Coaching change at the San Siro in the summer. Reports allege that Lazio boss Roberto Mancini or Fabio Capello of Roma would be approached. There is still uncertainty over Mancio’s future with the Biancocelesti given their financial problems. The Sampdoria legend was already targeted by Inter last summer but he decided to sign a five-year deal in Rome.
