Christian Vieri has voiced his intention to win some major silverware with Inter and Italy in the next six months.
"I want to finish the League campaign in the best possible manner and try to win the UEFA Cup and Coppa Italia," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I want to have a great European Championship and possibly even win it. I would also like the chance to play at the Olympics – a dream for all athletes."
Vieri’s desire to win things with his club will be welcomed by the Nerazzurri fans after some difficult times of late.
He was fined for pulling out of a Coppa Italia tie and the arrival of Adriano saw many start to question whether he had a future at the club.
"The Coppa incident is over and done with," he added. "The Coach and I have put it to one side.
"As for Adriano, I’ve never had problems with any of my teammates who play up front with me.
"Just ask Crespo and Martins. In fact I was the first to give them a helping hand when needed."
So can Vieri partner Adriano in the side? "We are two similar players but we both want to help Inter," he added.
Vieri has been out of action recently with a slight thigh injury but he could be back in action against Siena.
"I hope to return on Sunday," he said. "That is my intention but I need to be careful because I don’t want to aggravate the injury."
When asked whether he would still be an Inter player next season, Vieri failed to be too specific.
"I will speak to (owner) Massimo Moratti and we will decide my future together," he said. "But first I want to win something with this club."
