President Massimo Moratti hopes that Inter’s win at Juventus last week was just the start of something beautiful. "The win in Turin must be considered as a wonderful take off point and not an arrival," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport. The Nerazzurri are back in the Scudetto race after four consecutive League wins and Moratti is keen for another victory in the Coppa Italia this evening. "The clash against Reggina will be an important step for us in our progression," he added. "We are looking for consistency." Moratti has ploughed millions into the club over the last decade but now feels that new boss Alberto Zaccheroni is getting the best out of his players. "The win at Juventus was proof that Inter has a squad that the Coach can be satisfied of, a group of players that can guarantee us a competitive edge," he added. However, the number of players being linked with a move to Inter in January continues to increase. After Lazio’s Dejan Stankovic, reports in Italy on Thursday suggest that David Pizarro (pictured) is being targeted. The 23-year-old doesn’t look set to extend his current contract with Udinese and Inter are known admirers of the Chilean. The midfielder had a wonderful campaign last season and was close to joining both Lazio and Juventus last summer.
