Inter have been told to forget about signing Michael Ballack after Bayern Munich confirmed he wasn’t for sale. The Nerazzurri are just one of a number of clubs linked with the 27-year-old but a move doesn’t look on the horizon. "Ballack is not for sale," insisted Bayern general manager Uli Hoeness. "Speculation suggesting otherwise is false. "I’ve also spoken to his agent, who has also dismissed rumours that he is in talks with other clubs over a possible move." Inter President Massimo Moratti is rumoured to be a massive Ballack fan which fuelled the fire over a possible swoop. The San Siro giants do seem to lack a midfield general and the former Bayer Leverkusen player was talked about as a January target. Whispers last week claimed that the German outfit could cash in on the international if they are knocked out of the Champions’ League next week.
