11/27/2003. In an Interview with TG5, Alberto Zaccheroni has analysed his Inter side after Tuesday's 5-1 hammering at Arsenal. Alberto Zaccheroni "If these are things that are repeated then it's probably not just chance," he said after it was put to him that he has failed to win either game he has taken charge of in the Champions League. "We have to start from the idea that when you build a team and try to grow, there might also be some mistakes. The result (the 5-1 defeat to Arsenal) leads you to make a wrong interpretation of the game. Up to then we had tried to do well. We were divided and we no longer did things in the right way. One part of the team concentrated on defending, while the others protested about the penalty which wasn't given." And did the defeat cancel out the good work done over the last month? "It's like a child that's growing," he went on. "It falls down now and again. Falls are part of the project. The crowd understood last night (Tuesay night) that we're working towards an objective. They know we're trying and that now and again things don't go how you want them to." And on the disgruntled Christian Vieri: "He's training very well and sometimes he has to be slowed down. At the moment he's not managing to do things at best, but he always leaves his mark in every match." SA Italy
